Hello Yellow Day - Friday 10th October 2025

Dear Parents/Carers,

Starting in 2016, Hello Yellow has been the annual Young Minds campaign to raise awareness and much needed funds for young people’s mental health. Every World Mental Health Day schools, workplaces and communities across the UK wear yellow, fundraise and show young people they are not alone.

This year at Lakeside we would like you to take part in Hello Yellow on Friday 10th October by wearing something colourful. It does not have to be yellow - wear whatever colours bring you joy! It could be a pair of socks, a bow in your hair or a full rainbow ensemble.

During the day, children will explore how to look after their own mental health through mindfulness, circle times and various activities indoors and outdoors designed to help them feel some inner sunshine ☀️
