Road Works - Leyland Road – From Monday 23rd March 2026

Dear Parents/Carers,

From the week commencing 23rd March 2026, there are going to be road works to resurface the road and repair the potholes along the whole loop of Leyland Road. We have been provided with very limited information but we expect this work to run into the Easter holiday and possibly beyond.

Undoubtedly, this will have an impact on access to school so we urge all parents arriving to school by car, to make extra time for their journey. We are anticipating that the works will also have an impact on the surrounding roads and as a result, parking availability around school may be reduced. Can you please ensure that you park respectfully and with consideration for the residents of Lakeside by not blocking their driveways. Where possible, please consider alternatives to parking in an around school by parking away from site and then walking the last part of the journey to help ease any potential congestion.

As I have said previously, please allow extra time for you journey to ensure that your children still attend school on time.
